Inspired by celebrated celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson, the Gourmet Pie Maker cooks four individual pies at a time each with a separate recess enabling you to make four pies with four different fillings all at once. This is great for feeding a family with different tastes or for serving at buffets and parties. The size of each pie means they can be used individually for starters or served with accompaniments for a complete meal. And you can choose how simple or complicated you want your pie-making to be. Keep it simple by using store bought pastry and a few basic ingredients or alternatively spend time making mouth- watering fillings and pastries from scratch. It is also a great way of using any leftover food, heating up even chilled fillings taken directly from the fridge, making it both economical and convenient--a truly adaptable kitchen appliance. Ready in Just 10 Minutes The unit consists of two non-stick plates with four recesses in the lower one specially designed to produce attractive, perfectly-formed pies. Simply plug in the Gourmet Pie Maker and both the red and green lights will illuminate. Once the appropriate cooking temperature is reached the green light will turn off. This is your cue to add the pastry bases directly to each recess and then gently press them with the accompanying pastry cutting tool. Fill them with your desired filling, top with the pastry lid and then use the other side of the cutting tool to get the perfect pie shape. A latch locks the lid into place so the temperature remains constant and the handles make it easy to open, close and transport. Once they have been cooked with the lid closed for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, the pies will be ready to be lifted out, served and enjoyed.
The pie recesses are non-stick Easy to Use and Easy to Clean Once the pies have been eaten, the Gourmet Pie Maker continues to keep your kitchen chores to a minimum.
